How to use
Australian Pitted Prunes make a great instant snack and lunchbox ingredient. Add chopped prunes to muesli, porridge and smoothie bowls. Use them in home-baked cakes, muffins, biscuits and desserts. Prunes also make a lovely base for sauces and stuffing. Prunes can be soaked in hot water for a few minutes, or lightly stewed for compote. Serve stewed prunes for breakfast with your favourite cereal and natural dairy or coconut yoghurt. For a delicious dessert treat try with ice cream or chia pudding.
