Organic Puffed Brown Rice is a light and tasty addition to breakfast foods. Eat them on their own with dairy, grain or nut milk, or add them to your favourite cereal. Puffed rice is also delicious in home-made mueslis and granola. For a quick and convenient snack sprinkle puffs over yoghurt and fresh berries. Or combine them with dried fruit, nuts and seeds in a scrumptious hikers’ mix. To create yummy rice bars simply melt 1/3 cup of coconut nectar
or maple syrup
with ¾ cup of any nut butter or pureed Medjool dates
over a low heat. Add a little vanilla
and 3 & 1/2 cups of rice puffs, mix well and press into a lined tray to set for 2 hours in the fridge. Great for lunchboxes. Brown Rice Puffs are also a natural choice for energy balls, muesli bars and treats like Chocolate Crackles and raw vegan chocolate. A wonderful pantry staple.
