How to use
This organic Black Rice is wonderful served with Asian inspired dishes, hearty curries and casseroles. The purple colour looks amazing in salads or sushi rolls. Or create irresistible black rice puddings with coconut or almond milk, delicious with mixed berries. Black rice takes longer to cook than white rice. It can be pre-soaked for a few hours, or overnight, to reduce the cooking time. Then cook 1:2 in fresh water (or stock) using the absorption method until tender - about 35 minutes if soaked, or 50 minutes if un-soaked.
