How to use
Organic Puffed Buckwheat is a light and tasty addition to breakfast foods. Eat them on their own with dairy, grain or nut milk, or add them to your favourite cereal. Puffed buckwheat is also delicious in home-made mueslis and granola. For a quick and convenient snack sprinkle puffs over yoghurt and fresh berries. Or combine them with dried fruit, nuts and seeds in a scrumptious hikers’ mix. To create yummy slices simply melt 1/3 cup of coconut nectar or maple syrup with ¾ cup of any nut butter or pureed Medjool dates over a low heat. Mix in 2-3 tbsps. of cacao or carob powder and a little vanilla with 3 & 1/2 cups of buckwheat puffs, combine well and press into a lined tray to set for 2 hours in the fridge. Great for lunchboxes. Buckwheat Puffs are also a natural choice for energy balls, muesli bars and treats like cacao slices and raw vegan chocolate. A wonderful pantry staple.
